We were able to attend a major league game in Yokohama, between the Yokohama BayStars and the Hanshin Tigers (Osaka). It is unlike anything we've experienced in the States. The fans are very vocal, with chanting, and clapping their small plastic bats together, as well. It took about an hour from the Shibuya Station. Interesting that they use the word "dish" when talking about home plate!
We left early enough to walk thru China Town and get a bite to eat before
the game. We tried a couple new taste items: one was a doughy round-shaped thing, with various kinds of filling inside. The one we tried had
chocolate. These were being prepared in kind of a steam oven.
The other new thing was ice cream in the shape of tiny beads. When you would let it set on your tongue for a bit, it changed to creamy ice cream!
A satisfied man!
