Australia trip

More travel for Sharon!

For two weeks, Sept. 19-Oct. 4, Sharon flew to Melbourne to spend time with our daughter Leslie and husband Gavin, and our two Aussie grandchildren, Ben (7) and Tessa(3). Ben was on a two week scheduled break from school; thus I was able to be of help to Leslie, and spend time with those grands!

Besides helping with the household projects, we found time to visit a Tulip Farm in the foothills of the Dandenong Mountains.

On the way, we stopped at an area where people can feed many types of wild birds--cocatoos, rosellas, king parrots, etc.

I had a wonderful flight on JAL, with a complicated transfer to Qantas in Brisbane. On my return flight, the clouds and sky were ethereal and brought forth such praise in my heart for our creator God! Approaching Tokyo, we could see Mt. Fuji in the distance.

Although it was an 8-9 hr. flight, there was no jet lag, since there was only 1 hour difference in time. Yea!!!
